To the family and friends of Cuong, you have my deepest sympathy for your loss. I am honored to have known Cuong, and to have spent time with him at family get togethers. Every soul has gifts to share with those of us who are lucky to spend time with them. Cuong had his very special gifts that he shared with all of those who interacted with him. From Cuong, we learned love, acceptance, being in the present, understanding of others who are different from us, and joy. What I liked about Cuong was that even though he didn't speak English and I didn't speak Vietnamese, he was able to make his feelings clearly known. I could tell if he was happy or mad, indifferent or frustrated, calm or excited. I appreciated that he was honest and direct in the expression of his feelings. I pray that his family and friends will feel peace and comfort during their times of sorrow and grief. With love, Denise Gregory
