Obituaries

Crispin was born to eternal life on January 14, 2023, surrounded by his family; he was only 36 years old.

He was born on July 25, 1986 in Hayward to Crispin and Irene E. Garcia but spent most of his life in Fremont. Crispin graduated Irvington High School in 2005 and continued his education at Ohlone College and Wyotech. His mind was always geared into becoming a top mechanic, developing his talent throughout many shops around the Bay Area. In the end, he established himself as a dedicated hardworking mechanic at Fremont Toyota.

Besides being a mechanic, Crispin enjoyed all sorts of activities such as daily puzzles, building legos, and was an avid troubleshooter. He was born into a soccer family but also enjoyed watching the SF Giants and 49ers. Our fondest memories were when we had family reunions. It was all he ever asked for, with his favorite holiday being thanksgiving, to bring everyone together and enjoying a great meal. It had to be deep fried turkey with a honey baked ham. Loving the occasion so much he began to learn to cook various dishes from handmade pastas to baking.

A special thanks to his healthcare providers over the last 7 years; Dr. Vu Nguyen and all the nurses from the 10 south team and the clinic at Kaiser Oakland.

He was a wonderful son, inspiring loving brother and nephew. Crispin was one of a kind. He will forever be in our hearts.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 22, 5-8pm with a Vigil Service at 6pm at Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, January 23, 11am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, 41933 Blacow Rd., Fremont, CA. Burial at Irvington Memorial Cemetery in Fremont to follow.
