Obituary For Cordelia B. Bautista

Cordelia Galang Bautista the daughter of the late Frank and Severina Bautista Jr. passed away peacefully on May 19th, 2022. Born in the Philippines and arriving to the US with her mom and two sisters, she began her life in the Bay Area. Together with the late Pol Engalla, they raised seven children in Fremont as she worked as an Insurance Processor/Underwriter in the city for 15 years. In 2001 she moved to Jacksonville, Florida with her love of her life of 31 years, Jaime Pomar, and then returned to California in August of 2021.

Her legacy and pride and joy are her seven children and their families. Her children: Douglas and his wife Angela, Julia and her husband Enrique, Polly and her husband Russell, Jewell and her husband Doug, James and his fiancé Eileen, William and his wife Debra, and Paul and his wife Ava. Her grandchildren: Robert and his wife Lisa, Catie and her husband Ryan, Jennifer and her husband Mike, Erica and Rex, Veronica and her husband Bryan, Jacqueline, Allen, Alyssa, Emily, Dillon, Taylor, Katie, Kendall and Jheleen. Her precious great-grandchildren: Cody, Julia Claire, Victor, Gustavo, and Matilda.

She is also survived by her three sisters Lilia, Cely and Sally, Sister-in-laws Corazon, Leonor and Tess and their families along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

You are welcome to join our family for her Celebration of Life on Sunday, May 20th at 11:00 am for the viewing and Service at 12:00 pm at Fremont Memorial Chapel 3723 Peralta Boulevard Fremont, Ca. Reception immediately following.

    Sincere condolences to all of you. Know that you are surrounded by the love and support of family and friends during this difficult time. Your mom was loved by everyone.
