Obituary For Clayton Aguel Magsanay

Clayton Magsanay passed away suddenly, but peacefully, in his sleep while at home. Clayton was born and raised in Fremont, California by Barry and Theresa Magsanay, along with his two brothers, Logan and Severin.

Clayton was a dearly loved student throughout his grade school and junior high years at Our Lady of Guadalupe School in Fremont, Ca, then attended and graduated from Moreau Catholic High School in Hayward, Ca.

Clayton attended Chabot College, Ohlone College, and Santa Clara University. At the time of his passing Clayton was pursuing professional certifications in the field of Information Security.

Clayton was highly creative and had a passion for writing music and playing guitar. His second passion was the role-playing and strategy genres of online and tabletop gaming.

Clayton’s genuine kindness, engaging demeanor, and timely wit was appreciated by all who knew and loved him. It’s those traits that Clayton’s family and friends say will be fondly remembered whenever they reminisce about the time they shared with Clayton during his much too short time on Earth.

Clayton is survived by his parents, Barry and Theresa, and his brothers Logan and Severin.

Formal Vigil will be on October 17th, 2019, 6:30pm at Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd. Fremont. Pre-Vigil Viewing & Sharing begins at 5pm.

Funeral Mass will be on October 18th, 2019, 10:30am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, 41933 Blacow Road, Fremont.

Clayton you have left far to soon. We have so many memories from grammar and high school years, sports, birthday parties and gatherings with you and your family. You will be deeply missed and in our hearts forever. Thank you for letting us be a part of your life and for teaching us that love always survives in the end. May you rest in the arms of Jesus for all eternity. Until we meet again. We love you. Terri & Lance Vivet & Family

Clay, you were a great friend. You were funny and witty. You listened to me when I vented my frustrations. Thank you. Rest easy.

I don’t know what to say. I saw you grow up, I thought you were the cutest thing. A lot of time has passed but the other week when I heard you passed it hurt me so much. Kathy’s family is my family and knowing how much they are hurting makes me forever sad. Keep VT company Clayton. Rest In Peace. Forever missed.
