Obituary For Cecilia Mary Navas
Entered into rest on September 19, 2013 in Union City, CA at the age of 89. Devoted wife to the late John M. Navas. Loving mother to John Thomas Navas of Fremont, Barbara Joyce Ojeda of Fremont, and Dale John Navas of Union City. Caring grandmother to John Navas, Lance Navas, Gregory Ojeda, Renee Ojeda Jue, DJ Navas, and Cody Navas. Proud great-grandmother of Evan Navas, Gavin Navas, Jacob Navas, Sofia Navas, and Amalea Jue. Cherished sister of Mary Jane Schuler of Montana. Predeceased by her brothers John Garcia, and Manuel "Shorty" Garcia.
Born February 8, 1924 in Decoto, CA, Cecilia graduated from Washington High School in 1942. She enjoyed painting and reading.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 24, from 5-8pm with a Vigil at 7pm at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, 703 C St., Union City, CA 94587. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 25, 10am at the church. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward, CA.

to the navas family....i am so sorry for your loss...i have known your mom /grandmother most of my life ..wonderful lady with a huge heart she will be missed by everyone who grew up in decoto ...you were blessed to have her in your life...many hugs .. delphine
