Obituary For Catalina Monica Martinez
Beloved daughter, Catalina Monica Martinez, 29, of Fremont, passed away on September 9, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Catalina was born in Hayward, CA on September 4, 1985. She graduated from Fremont Adult School and continued on to receive her license to be a Cosmetologist from Arnold Beauty College. Catalina worked as a hairstylist for 10 years.
Catalina is survived by her daughter Mariyah Martinez, parents Robert "Topper"and Ruth "Cookie" Martinez, sister Angelina Barroso, brother in law Adrian Barroso, niece Abigail Barroso, and many loving family and friends.
Catalina loved to do hair and makeup, spend time with family, especially her beautiful daughter Mariyah, and take summer vacations to San Diego.
She was a very strong and tough woman and touched the lives of many people with her contagious smile. She will forever be in our hearts.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to her daughter, Mariyah Martinez.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 15, from 5-8pm with a Vigil at 6:30pm at Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536. A Chapel Service will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 11am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward, CA.
