Obituary For Carolyn Marie Rodriguez
Born on September 16, 1948 in Oakland, CA and entered into rest on November 13, 2013 in Newark, CA at the age of 65. Devoted mother of Michael Mottram of Newark, Darrin Mottram and his wife Tracy of Hayward, Art Rodriguez and his wife Robin of Salida, and Crystal Lutchen and her husband Bill of Buckner, MO. Grandmother of 9 and great-grandmother of 1. Beloved sister of Elizabeth Merrill of Hayward, and Mark McDonald of Stockton. Preceded in death by her husband Arthur Rodriguez on October 25, 2008, her sister Rae Lynn Smith, her brother John David McDonald, and her parents John and Patricia McDonald.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 19, from 6-8pm with a Vigil at 7pm at Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 20, 10:30am at St. Edward's Catholic Church, 5788 Thornton Ave., Newark, CA 94560. Burial to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward, CA.
