Carolina B. Capistrano, 80, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2025 in Fremont, CA. She was a resident of Fremont, CA for many years.

​She was born June 1, 1945 to Felix Bautista and Elena Adsuara Bautista in Moncada, Tarlac, Philippines. She came to the United States in 1974 and settled in San Francisco and later in Fremont. She was a member of Geneva Avenue United Methodist Church in San Francisco. She was preceded in death by her parents, Felix and Elena Bautista, her brother Ernesto Bautista, and her sister Beatriz B. Ladiana.

​She is survived by her children Matthew B. Capistrano(Arryl Ladanga), Marigold Joy C. Mazo (Ricky); grandchildren, Marcus, Malakai and Raevyn Mazo, Miranda Capistrano. She is survived by her brothers; Fred, Cesar and Rodolfo Bautista and sisters; Mercedita B. Cueto (Rev. Estan Cueto), Gudelia B. Sison, Miraflor B. Spingola (Kenneth), as well as numerous nephews, nieces and relatives in the United States and the Philippines.

​She studied at the Philippine Women’s University in Manila taking Medical Technology. She was a caregiver in Piedmont, CA and retired to devote her time to looking after her grandchildren.
