Obituary For Carol Shaoyu Cheng
Entered into rest on June 4, 2013 in Stanford, CA at the age of 55. Devoted wife of 26 years to Mike Wu of Dublin, CA. Loving mother to Debra Wu and Janice Wu, both of Dublin, CA. Beloved sister of Shaohong Cheng of China, and Shaopeng Cheng of Michigan. Caring aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Born July 3, 1957 in China, Carol was always optimistic and enjoyed life. She enjoyed gardening and being an educator to her children. She got her Doctorate at Georgia Tech in electrical engineering. She worked at PG&E and LCG Consulting Firm as a professional engineer. Carol was always willing to help others. She donated her time to Friends of Children with Special Needs.
A Memorial Service will be held for Carol on Sunday, June 16, 10:30am at Fremont Chapel of the Roses, 1940 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536. Inurnment at Irvington Memorial Cemetery in Fremont, CA.

It was such a shock when I heard Carol?s passing. Our college folks in bay area had held lunch meetings after each Chinese New Year for a few years but we missed the chance of meeting you this year. Still remember that you showed us your 775 reunion photos, still remember that you appreciated the 785 reunion photos I brought back, and still feel you are among us. Carol, wish you all the best in the heaven.
