Obituary For Carlos Humberto Solorzano
With love and gratitude for a life well lived, the Solorzano family announces the peaceful passing of Carlos H. Solorzano on November 14, 2025. Born in Santa Ana, El Salvador, on July 16, 1933, Carlos emigrated to the United States to build a future filled with opportunity, service, and unwavering devotion to those he loved.
A proud veteran of the United States Army, Carlos embodied dedication and discipline throughout his life. After his service, he forged a remarkable path as a small-business owner, building a successful company specializing in car and industrial batteries. His entrepreneurial spirit, work ethic, and integrity earned him deep respect within his community and industry.
Carlos was the heart of his family, a loving husband, father, and grandfather whose kindness was expressed through wisdom, generosity, and an abiding belief in others’ potential. He nurtured growth by giving space, support, and encouragement, always guiding with gentleness and quiet strength.
Brilliant and endlessly curious, Carlos pursued knowledge and creativity wherever it could be found. His passion for numbers, ancient history, plants, animals, puzzles, model building, and even Legos filled his life with joy and wonder. His great-grandchildren delighted in visiting him, especially to see the newest Lego creation he had proudly assembled.
A lifelong sports enthusiast, Carlos found his happiest moments cheering alongside his sons during football and soccer games, and his loyalty as a devoted 49ers fan. Music also filled his world; the sounds of marimba and Spanish boleros brought him comfort, nostalgia, and peace.
Carlos is survived by his beloved wife Irma, with whom he shared 67 wonderful years of marriage. His four sons, Jose, Samuel, Daniel, and Alberto. His five grandchildren, Samuel Jr, Elaina, Francisco, Anna, and Talisa, and his seven great-grandchildren, who cherished every smile and story he shared with them.
To his family and all who knew him, Carlos was, and will forever remain, the pillar of the family: steady, wise, compassionate, and endlessly loving. His legacy lives on in the values he instilled, the example he set, and the countless lives he touched.
He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and eternally celebrated.
