Obituary For Carl Brandie Napiza

On Tuesday, October 28, 2014, Carl Brandie Rapido Napiza, husband, son, brother and friend passed unexpectedly at the age of 38 years.

Carl was born on October 9, 1976, in Manila, Philippines, to Benjamin Napiza, II and Erlinda Napiza. He lived in the Philippines and moved to Vallejo, CA, in 1987. He graduated from Hogan High School in 1995 and completed his Associate of Science in Computer Science from Napa Valley College in 1998. On October 12, 2007, he married Melissa Ramos, his girlfriend of ten years and settled down in Hayward.

Carl will be especially remembered for his friendly personality and most of all his willingness to help those around him without asking for anything in return. His caring ways will be treasured forever. Carl was devoted to his family and helped raise his fellow siblings. He was known as “Kapatid” (sibling) by everyone around him. Carl left a deep impact in all our lives.

A special place for Carl will remain in the hearts of his beloved wife and best friend Melissa, by his mother, Erlinda Napiza, and by his siblings - Elaine Maningas, John Napiza, Karen Napiza, Christian Napiza and Lou Napiza. Carl will also be treasured by his numerous nieces, nephews, godchildren and extended family and dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7 from 3-8pm with a Vigil at 6:30pm at Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 8, 10am at Saint Clement Catholic Church, 750 Calhoun St., Hayward, CA 94544. Burial will follow at Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park in Hayward, CA.

We didn't get to visit often but when we did we always left with so much love and happiness. He came home from work one time with a box of Krispy cream donuts when we were there for a visit because he knew I wanted it so bad.
