Obituary For Antonio Pereira Pimentel

On the morning of December 29, 2021, Antonio P. Pimentel passed away after battling cancer. Antonio was with his family in his final moments. Antonio was a husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He leaves behind his wife of 64 years Maria Fatima, as well as 3 children his daughter; Maria her husband Mario Braga, his daughter Esmeralda Pimentel. His son Antonio, and his wife Michelle. His grandchildren, Kalicia Eden Duque, Kyle and Kelly Sousa, Austin, Bailey and Danica Pimentel, Brian and Sylvia Braga, and Scott Bennett. Antonio was 1 of 4 siblings, he is survived by 2 sisters Maria Pimentel, and Gloria Martins. Antonio is reunited in heaven with his son Jose Antonio, parents, Antonio and Leopoldina, and brother Jose Pimentel. Antonio immigrated to the United States in 1967 from Flores, Azores. He lived and worked in Fremont/Newark for the past 54 years. He enjoyed watching soccer especially his favorite team Benfica, gardening, barbecuing, and playing CA lottery/scratchers, spending time with his family and telling stories about his childhood, and life in the Azores. We would like to thank caregiver’s Maria Martins and Gloria Martins. He will be truly missed but forever in our hearts and memories.

    I'm so sorry, The Pimentel Family, lost it's leader. I remember when my Father passed, this man was ALWAYS right there for me, and for that alone, I will Never forget him. With all the respect I can offer.
