Obituary For Anthony Weldon Kerlegan
Born September 15, 1939 in New Iberia, LA, and entered into rest on December 10, 2013 in Fremont, CA at the age of 74. Survived by his wife of 40 years Dorothy Kerlegan; sons: Anthony Kerlegan, Jr., Delfino Pacheco, Kyle Kerlegan, and Jeff Kerlegan and his wife Jacqueline; daughter Aaliyah : Letty Lucero, Florence Kerlegan, Renee Pacheco-Mancha and her husband John, and Twila Lucero and her husband Gilbert; 14 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brother: Harry Kerlegan Jr.; and sisters: Alice Brossard and her husband Joe, Betty Fontenot, Delores Michels and her husband Tim, and Dollie Brooks and her husband Harry.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 17, from 5-8pm with a Vigil at 7pm at Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, CA 94536. Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 18, 2pm at St. Edward Catholic Church, 5788 Thornton Ave., Newark, CA 94560.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Anthony to the Salvation Army online at https://donate.salvationarmyusa.org/page.aspx?pid=207#tribute.
