Our beautiful daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend, Alyssa Hayley Pimentel Ornelas left this world unexpectedly, at the age of 17, on June 21, 2019. Born in Hayward, California on November 12, 2001 to Michelle Pimentel and Santiago Ornelas. Alyssa spent the majority of her life in Fremont, California where she attended and graduated from Moreau Catholic College Preparatory High School on May 26, 2019.

Alyssa was a lover of cheerleading, fashion, music and enjoyed singing, dancing and doing her best renditions of the hottest songs. In fact, she spent hours making music videos that we will forever cherish. She was funny, outgoing and vivacious, but she was also smart, witty and charming.

She was fiercely loyal to her family and particularly loved to spend time with all of her baby siblings and cousins. Her faith in the lord was unbreakable and we believe that she is in her creators arms.

We will always remember her gorgeous smile, big brown eyes and entertaining personality. Her presence in our lives will be sorely missed.

When you think of Alyssa, celebrate the good memories you have of her. Remember that life is fragile, short and should be lived to the fullest.

Alyssa was preceded in death by her father Santiago. She leaves behind her mother Michelle, brothers Santiago Jr. and Anthony Rodriquez; sister Santiana Ornelas; grandparents, Mike Pimentel and Dolores Franco; and Steve Ornelas and Judy Coffee; aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at 1pm, Sunday, June 30 at Fremont Memorial Chapel, located 3723 Peralta Blvd. in Fremont CA. The ceremony is followed by a catered and potluck dinner at the Fremont Senior Center from 5pm to 9pm located at 40086 Paseo Padre Park Way in Fremont CA.
