Obituary For Alicia Higuera Miramontes

Alicia Higuera Miramontes passed away on November 25, at the age of 94. She is survived by her children, Frank Miramontes and his wife Lorraine, Manuel Miramontes and his wife Teresa, Norma Braswell and her husband Steve, and Ruben Miramontes and his wife Melody. She also is survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as her sister, Julia Higuera of El Paso, Texas. Predeceased by her husband Jose Miramontes and two sons, Joe and Arthur, and two grandchildren Desiree and Fatima.

She was born in San Francisco Del Oro, Chihuahua, Mexico. As a young woman, she came to the US through El Paso where she met her husband and they later moved to Decoto, California in the early 50's where she raised her six children.

She loved her family dearly and her favorite times were attending family gatherings and events. She was a strong, loving, generous person that will be deeply missed.
