You will truly be missed by your family and friends, Alan. I remember playing together in Queens, NY when we were both kids. Then while you were still in the Navy you came back to NY to visit. It was great to see your smiling face. You definitely left us too soon, but I know you're in Heaven looking over your loved ones.

Our company just moved into our new home and it was not the same without your smiling face. But your presence is felt within our new walls and I know you are watching over the company you helped grow and that will sorely miss you. May your soul receive God's eternal blessing.

I had the pleasure working with Alan for a brief time but I wanted to let you know what a wonderful young man he was. He always had a smile and helpful attitude. We particpated together to feed the homeless, where Alan made his famous tomatos, eggs and rice dish. He said it was a family specialty and it was delicious.
We will miss him very much.

This remembrance is from one of Alan's customers Jeff Bonner at South San Francisco USD.
Jeff wanted let his family know how sad he was to hear about Alan Chung. He said Alan was a very impressive young man, whom they all loved working with there. Alan always had a smile and positive attitude with everyone he interacted with here. He said Alan would never leave an issue until the job was complete and the customer was happy.
Alan?s dedication and commitment to customer satisfaction was something he wanted his own team to emulate. He wanted you all to know how greatly he will be missed there.

I had the pleasure of knowing Alan for a short time on USS Columbus. I've never known anyone who smiled more or who seemed happier to be doing whatever needed to be done. Rest in peace, brother.

Alan was truly a shining light in our company that will be missed as he lifted the room when he walked in smiling. Anyone who worked with Alan immediately understood the dedication that he brought to the table and was inspired by the thirst for knowledge that Alan displayed.
Alan, your can-do attitude will truly be missed by everyone here at Syserco but your legacy will live on in the new halls of our company headquarters because this was the last job you worked on. I will remember you every time I hear an AHU kick on!

Alan was one of the first friends I made when I arrived on the Submarine that he and I served on together. His cheerful attitude and constant optimism made him a joy to be around. Alan brightened the lives of everybody around him. He always had kind words of encouragement for anybody who was having a bad day.
The world will be a less cheerful place without you, Alan. We will all miss you.
